Introduction

This training will enable participants to develop the necessary expertise to conduct internal audits based on ISO/TS 29001:2010 and ISO 9001:2015.  Delegates will acquire the necessary knowledge and understanding to perform effective internal audits in accordance with the auditing process set out in ISO 19011 International auditing standard.

This training builds on the specific requirement of ISO/TS 29001:2010 for internal auditing and, is specifically designed to meet the needs of the petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industry.

Objectives

By the end of this training, participants will know how to:

  • Understand and interpret requirements of ISO/TS 29001:2010
  • Gain expertise to perform internal audits following ISO 19011:2012 guidelines
  • Manage and select QMS lead and team auditors
  • Recognise and analyse QMS non-conformances during the audit
  • Ask audit questions and take constructive notes
  • Analyse audit findings and prepare internal audit reports

Training Methodology

Training is based on both theory and practice and uses examples based on real cases, practical exercises and full case study including auditor role-playing and oral presentations and final lead/auditor written examination in two parts.
